Since I got direct.tv and now I have a ton of channels, I wonder why I can flip through hundreds of them and still not find anything that I want to watch. One would think that between channels devoted to history, women’s issues, news, and movies I would be able to settle on something when I get home from work at night. I’m starting to think that I might have some sort of adult ADD. I can watch something for about 10 or 15 minutes until I get bored and get the urge to change the channel. Maybe it’s just that I spend so many hours during the day concentrating on work? I also think that since I just got connected I’m not familiar enough with all of the channels to know what I like. I spent so many years without cable TV, that I am kind of clueless when it comes to what the good shows on cable channels are. I should have some of my friends over to show me the ropes. I need to start recording shows that I’m interested in too, so that there is always something to watch, even if it isn’t on right at that moment.
